Anatase
One immutable Fedora image for desktop, handheld, and gaming.
What is Anatase?
Anatase is a Fedora-based atomic distribution built with bootc by Antheas Kapenekakis, a core Bazzite maintainer, who describes it as a from-scratch rewrite that distills three years of learnings from Bazzite. A single image covers desktops, laptops, handhelds, home-theater PCs, and NVIDIA systems, with three sessions: KDE Plasma Desktop, Plasma Mobile for touch devices, and a gamescope-based Gamemode with 2X frame generation. Spaces let you run Arch, Fedora, Ubuntu, or Kali packages alongside the read-only base. It is a very new project: NVIDIA GTX 10-series and older cards are not supported, and keeping Secure Boot on requires enrolling its key manually.
