What to do now that NixOS 24.11 is end of life
Running an end-of-life release means new vulnerabilities in the kernel, browser libraries, and system packages stay unpatched. The next supported step is NixOS 26.05, supported until Dec 31, 2026.
Switch the nixos channel (or your flake’s nixpkgs input) to the new release, then run sudo nixos-rebuild switch --upgrade.
